mono. kultur

mono.kultur is an independent interview magazine based in Berlin. Their concept is as simple as it is elegant: one artist, one conversation, one issue – no more, no less. And so each and every issue is dedicated exclusively and entirely to one single artist from the various genres of culture.

Carefully edited and lovingly produced, each issue is developed in close collaboration with the featured artist, and redesigned from scratch to perfectly represent their work and world.

Established in 2005, mono.kultur has over time become an archive of sorts – of intelligent and engaging conversations about contemporary concerns as well as of the many wonderful things that can be done with print and paper, exploring the outer edges of editorial publishing.

mono.kultur is published in English and distributed in selected art book stores worldwide.
