Hverdag Books

Hverdag (Norwegian for “everyday”) publishes unique and experimental editions for and about the everyday. The press was founded in 2016 by the artist Jessica Williams and currently based in Moss, Norway. For the entire year of 2023, Hverdag’s publishing program is centred around a unique year-long exhibition at House of Foundation in Moss entitled “(be)longing”. Over the course of the year, there will be eight artist publications produced and presented in the gallery space that touch upon different aspects of otherness and being on the outside. A third of the artists in this publishing program were selected through an open call for QTBIPOC creatives in Scandinavia.
