Description

Artist Paula Tudella presents the El Disparate collective’s latest photobook Das Ende and the story behind it, and what the artist learned during the process of its creation, both in publishing and distribution.

Das Ende is a photobook edited and published by Paula Tudela which is currently on its third edition. The book shows how a relationship starts at an electronic music festival and ends a couple of years after that, leading to heartbreak, self reflection and lastly finding oneself in the absence of the other person. It’s documented with personal photographs, scanned love letters and even real conversations.

Both editions sold out and many young people are connecting with the story. The artist will discuss what makes it appealing, speaking about finding your own voice, and being honest with your story and the importance of such an approach in relation to direct contact with your audience. The artist will discuss how she channelled pain into creative projects and how the creative process can help the healing process.
