Ste Murray’s first photobook, Have Pass, Will Travel, documents an active retirement group from Tallaght who travel all over Ireland using their free travel pass. Ste built a collaborative relationship with the group, joining them on their monthly journeys. With photographs spanning from 2018-2023, this book is dedicated to a community group of over 70 people that has been running for over 10 years.
About Ste Murray
Ste Murray is a photographer and actor from Dublin. He primarily works with Architects, Theatre Makers, and Arts Organisations; framing their work through the camera, and enjoying the various conditions & challenges these areas have to offer. He interprets and represents their work. Most of his work is commissioned, but he works on personal projects and exhibitions parallel to this. His main interests are the changing spatial qualities of the world around us, patterns & habits of societies, and the transience of time.
Following the launch, the book will be available to purchase at Tsundoku Art Book Fair 13th-16th July, The Printworks, Dublin Castle and through the artist’s website: www.ste.ie.
