Description

Ania Ready’s workshop focuses on ways and strategies in which images and text can co-exist, particularly in a photobook form. Various approaches will be analysed, using contemporary examples where photographs and written word inform, illuminate, contextualise and disrupt each other, with a special focus on materials used to present them (types of paper, size, placement, etc). In the second part of the workshop, participants will be working on images and text, and participants are welcome to bring their own. The workshop finishes with the presentation  of the finished work.

Short break – 5 min
Practical exercise – marrying images and texts in a creative way – 45 mins
