Choosing (un)willingly to navigate in the margins by telling meaningful stories of communities or individuals kept outside of the global narrative is a form of resistance. Resistance to the mass media, resistance to what Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie called “the Danger of the single story” and resistance to monotony.
Through the practice of these indie publishers, we discuss how do we produce that archive of the present by making details utterly significant.
