FAKE
FAKE is an American independent publisher based in New York, founded by its editor, the experimental artist Cristiano Grim. The main vision of the publisher is the disruption of meaning in art, the transfiguration of its forms, and the awakening of the senses. The first 6 releases are focused on photography, graphic design, underground music, and poetry forged into a hybrid format: a music compilation pressed on an audiophile quality vinyl record with an offset printed zine.
FAKE features the work of international artists such as Parker Day, Braulio Amado, Stefano Lemon, Zach Hobbs, Jane Pain, Iphigenia Douleur, Jonathan Castro, Alessandro Adriani, Jordan Lieb, Antoni Maiovvi, Damon Palermo, Peaking Lights, Curses, Alana O’Herlihy, Erin Parsons and many others. Music is mastered by audio engineer Marco Antonio Spaventi. The zine is printed by SNEL in Belgium. The vinyls are pressed by Record Industry or Deepgrooves in Holland. FAKE is distributed by Printed Matters in USA and Bordello a Parigi in EU.
