Mónica Egido

“Mónica Egido (Salamanca, 1994) Graduate in Physiotherapy (specialising in chronic pain management), recently awarded a grant by PhotoEspaña to take the PHotoESPAÑA Master’s Degree in Photographic Projects.

She has exhibited her work individually at the Espacio cultural Barrio del Oeste (2019), as well as at the Espacio cultural Aldeadávila de la Ribera (2017). She has also exhibited collectively in spaces such as the Sara Caso Gallery in Madrid, the Abartium Gallery in Barcelona, The Holy Art Gallery in London, Espacio Nuca, the Sala de Arte El Brocense in Cáceres or Garna Gallery and Espacio Lobo Gallery in Madrid.

Her work has been published in Vogue Italia, Libro Flamantes and the book “”Mosaicos Económicos””.

She was recently awarded the TARA For Woman Foundation prize and was selected to be part of the Futures Photography platform.

She is currently one of the artists participating in the latest edition of PhotoEspaña festival in the gallery Espacio Lobo and in Centro de Arte de Alcobendas.”
