Elena Helfrecht is a visual artist working with photography who currently lives and works in Bavaria. She completed her MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art in London in 2019. Her work is centred on inner space and the phenomena of consciousness, emerging from an autobiographical context and opening up to the surreal and fantastic, at times grotesque. She was nominated for the FOAM Paul Huf Award, selected as one of the
Bloomberg New Contemporaries, and as one of VOID’S FUTURES photography talents in 2023. She was also honoured in both the BJP International Photo Award and the Sony Awards. Amongst others, her work has been shown at Encontros da Imagem in Braga, the FORMAT Photography Festival, Athens Photo Festival, and in institutions and galleries such as the South London Gallery, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, and Seen Fifteen Gallery.
Teri Varhol is a Czech artist working predominantly with photography and video. She graduated from the Studio of Intermedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno and currently lives in London, UK. Her main focus is on exploring unnamed and unacknowledged parts of the psyche, where the boundaries of reality blur and the unexpected arises. She won the British Journal of Photography Female in Focus Award and was selected as one of the 30 Under 30 Women Photographers by Artpil. Amongst others, her work was projected at Uniqlo Tate Lates at Tate Modern in London, and shown at the FORMAT Photography Festival, the National Museum and the DOX Center for Contemporary Art in Prague.
